The superintendent of Carrollton City Schools is promising “serious consequences” for two high school students who filmed and posted a racist video that has since gone viral. The video, initially posted to the social media platform TikTok, appears to show two teenagers using the n-word and making disparaging remarks about black people. It’s unclear when the 50-second video was initially posted, but it has been shared so many times that “Carrollton” was trending on Twitter on Friday morning. Filmed in a bathroom, the students — one boy and one girl — mimic a cooking show as they pour cups of water into the sink.“First we have ‘black,’” the girl can be heard saying as the boy grabs one cup and pours it in. “Next we have ‘don’t have a dad.’

Both Georgia students were quickly identified by their Carrollton High School classmates, and the video triggered a rebuke from the district’s superintendent. “Tonight it has been brought to my attention that an inappropriate video was created on the TikTok social media platform,” Mark Albertus said in a statement. “Please know that this video has been addressed immediately and any student involved in the production of this video will face serious consequences. Carrollton City Schools’ top priority is the health and well-being of our students and this type of behavior will not be tolerated.”

As of Friday afternoon, the district’s response had been shared more than 800 times. With in-person classes suspended for the rest of the academic year, it’s unclear what consequences the students could face. Several people posted online that the girl in the video is a graduating senior. The boy’s classification is unclear.

  1. This is not a texas school. Carrollton td is part of Lewisville isd. This disgusting act took place in Carrollton Georgia!

    • The article clearly states Georgia. We cannot control what people post on social media.

    • Carrollton is not part of Lewisville ISD, it is its own District. C-FB ISD which is Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, but this school is in the state of Georgia.

    • Huh…trust me, you can’t whoop black ass ppl even if innocent beautiful, handsome black woman and man give you gift, made you everything’s successful and save you then what you doing? I’ve wonder why you want an realize of their dummy book? Did black ppl haunt you or else..ever I don’t think so. I’ve wonder, god will enjoy your life to became their dummies book?🙏🏽 For u.

  2. Typical of the political environment. Their parents must be proud of their little POS.

  3. You know its messed up. But how much better are you to wish death on someone….

  4. This was not a school issue, it was a parent issue. The school should not be involved in this. It was not done on school property nor was it directed towards anyone at the school. What they did was wrong, but they have the same exact video going around for other races. Are they going to expel the others for making the same video? Is everyone sending death threats to the others? They are KIDS!!! How much stupid shit did we do as kids? Smh People need to get past their hate.

    • I normally don’t reply to people…but schools are the ones that told us don’t post stupid stuff on social media or it will hunt you…they never listened…that’s very disrespectful to black people and the school did the right thing…if they never did anything these kids wouldn’t have learned anything…next time anyone thinks of doing such a thing they will think twice about their careers and future.

  5. Lets be clear here. All of the stereotypes they have associated with black people can be said about any race. Obviously that bad decision cup, they should have filled it up and poured on each others’ heads over and over again. They don’t seem too bright. I would love to see where they are in 10 years!! For the record I am a highly educated and successful black woman married to a very intelligent black man who has never been to jail.

  6. Don’t let that pink bitch graduate, the world doesn’t need anymore day labor with that attitude.

  7. I’d like to correct the last line of the article. “ The boy’s classification is unclear.”
I submit that his classification is
    Loser
    Unemployable
    F#%*d by his own doing.

  8. Everything starts from home they say……9 times out of 10 the parents teachings are held accountable as well

  9. This happened in OHIO not Georgia and not Texas. 😂 I live in Ohio and have the proof. I’m not sure why this article is so wrong, and why people keep saying Georgia.

    • 1st of all you have no proof to nothing.. This happen in Carrollton Ga… I use to live in Carrolton and my kids went to that school… I still have family that goes there.. BYE FELICIA!!

  10. Carrollton HS – Carrollton, GA approximately 50 miles outside of Atlanta, GA – WOW just sad that this continues in 2020 totally unacceptable!

  11. 👏👏👏 I loved it❤❤❤ Thanks for the laugh. It’s nice to see everyone getting in on all the controversial humor during quarantine. It’s better than doing lots of coke, robbing a store at gun point, and then going to jail.
